Ski Dubai – World SkiBoard Championship 2008

Just when I thought the season was over for the Dubai gigs, and it was time to get ready for the summer elsewhere, Eclipse came up with the World SkiBoard Championship to take place in the indoors ski slope we have here in Dubai called the Ski Dubai.
The piste is over 1200 meters downhill, and it is around minus 8 degrees celcius, regardless of the weather outside.
At the time of the event, it was around 42 degrees outside Go figure

Amr Diab Live in Dubai, Arabian Travel Markets Gala Dinner

Amr Diab was in town again, this time for the gala dinner for the Arabian Travel Markets, which is a huge trade show, maybe the biggest in the region.
The pics are of a weird angle again, as I was the monitor engineer for the concert.

Salih Saka of DreamMaker Middle East was in Dubai to perform for the Radisson SAS’ JustChill session at the Lotus One Lounge.
Omar Khairat Live in Abu Dhabi

Omar Khairat, the Egyptian musical genious took the stage as part of the Sounds of Arabia at the Al Dhafra Auditorium, Abu Dhabi.
For those of you who are not familiar with his works, there’s a DVD out and I recommend highly to get your hands on it and enjoy the musical journey Omar takes you.
Amazing band, amazing music, amazing everything. Such an amazing way to spend the May-Day.
